-● Where does your collection begin?

With inspiration. This may be photographs, clippings from magazines or antiques. Then the theme of the collection is born, and only then I draw sketches and think about patterns for fabrics. And after making their samples, we create already styles.

-● Along with colorful prints, you also constantly use traditional handmade and embroidery techniques. Where does such a passion for them come from?

As a student, I first visited India and literally fell in love with this country, it was so different from my foggy England. Most of the embroideries and finishes on my models are so expensive that they can only be done by hand, and the Indians are real pros. Although other countries and cultures give me inspiration for work, but India always remains in the first place.

-● Handwork and self-made things have become very important recently. Do you think that in this way an individual approach returns to fashion?

In fact, this trend is not new at all. As a teenager, I remade clothes to my liking and sewed outfits for my friends. But I am really very pleased with such an abundance of ideas and the scope of creativity in today's fashion.

-● On the question of creativity: for many of us it is very difficult to combine things. Can you advise something?

When I think about the colors of the new collection, I experiment with unusual combinations. Perfectly combined, for example, catchy coral and body shades or rich blue and gold, as in my winter collection.

I know that many women are afraid of prints. But try, for example, to wear a colorful blouse and bright-colored trousers. It will be stunning!

-● So does your dress, which we propose to sew for our readers. Where can I put it on?

This elegant, iridescent, very feminine and moderately open dress is suitable for a romantic dinner or party. It requires a minimum of accessories - a clutch and shoes.A simpler fabric model can be worn on weekdays. I will be sincerely glad and flattered if I see a woman’s dress tailored to my pattern!
