A little black dress ... A woman of any age and social level deserves to wear it. A simple and ingenious move was invented long before the 50s, but the trend remains relevant to this day.

Who invented it? There are different opinions.
The version that the inventor of the little black dress is the "fashion aristocrat", the great Hubert de Givenchy, has a foundation.

But, probably, Coco Chanel would be outraged by this statement, since it was she who became world famous in 1926 thanks to the dress, which was then considered to be revolutionary without exaggeration. A small black dress freed women from uncomfortable corsets and fluffy skirts, gave them the opportunity to move and dance freely. For a long time, black was characteristic of the clothes of the working class, in addition, it was considered mourning, and thanks to Chanel it became noble, personifying elegance and style.
A black dress was appropriate everywhere: in combination with a jacket, it was suitable for everyday outfits, with discreet decorations - for a dinner party.
And today, nothing has changed. A little black dress revolutionized fashion history. So far, not a single outfit has had such success!
The dress was available to all women regardless of age and social status. It looked equally good - both from expensive fabric and from more affordable. Both the maid and the pampered wife of a millionaire could wear it. A simple black dress became the basis for the democratization of society. In the 1950s, the black dress celebrated its triumphant return to fashion Olympus when the young Hubert de Givenchy designed outfits for the famous icon in the style of Audrey Hepburn, in which she starred in the hit films Sabrina and Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Both films are stories of the transformation of a young pretty girl into a confident and self-sufficient woman. In the modern era, the path to becoming a “strong woman” is still long and thorny, and the popularity of a small black dress remains at its peak.
Women want to play many roles, and for this, among other things, you need a comfortable dress, which is always in fashion. So the little black dress became an attribute of the style of women of different generations - right up to the present day.
It is sexy and charming at the same time, an alternative is impossible. The elegance of the image, according to Chanel, is minimalism. The dress should not be burdened with decor, and with the help of several discreet accessories you can create your own, completely new and unique image. And the last, but no less important discovery was that a dress of tight-fitting cut can make a woman with magnificent forms absolutely irresistible. None of the jeans sewn in shape will add to her attractiveness, only a small black “miracle” from Chanel is capable of this.

It is worth thinking about her message, which has been relevant for about 100 years. In pursuit of perfect shapes, don't be afraid to show the bends of your figure, because femininity is true beauty! The only main rule when choosing a black dress is to ensure that your knees are covered, since Chanel considered this part of the female body the least attractive. She knew that time was and would always be on her side, and Givenchy knew that Coco Chanel was right. And women all over the world believe that a little black dress is a real find.
Every day ... For any occasion ... Hallelujah!
