About the page author

“My name is Kylie, I am an engineer, a seamstress, a wife and a lover of cats, I live in Ottawa,” our heroine introduces. “When I graduated from university and moved to Ottawa in 2012, I became a hobby to entertain myself in the evenings and in the weekend was no longer homework, my mother-in-law was an avid knitter and seamstress, and she had a spare Singer machine, released in the 80s. So my love for sewing started, I started with Christmas boots, then I tried quilts and I got to dresses and skirts. I love to sew, because this lesson combines love of creating things and love of clothing and fashion. When they ask me what I like about sewing, I reply: it’s like playing a Lego game, but you can wear the result! "

What is this page about

“I’m terribly tired of seeing the same thing in stores,” Kylie recalls. “I constantly thought: I can sew it! Maybe it would be cheaper, and probably it would be better! I also noticed how much a significant part of my salary is spent on some kind of fashionable things that actually live and wear one season. "As a result, Kylie’s wardrobe for the most part consists of things that she sewed herself, and her Instagram page is dedicated to the demonstration of these clothes.
