So you can decorate a sweater, cardigan, pullover or cardigan.

With such embroidery, you can simply decorate a knitted blouse, or disguise, for example, a small hole (before that it is better to sew it up, about the different repair methods, read the link below).

For this method, drawings or inscriptions with a contour are suitable, so it will be easy to remove paper after work.

You will need:

- knitted thing;

- floss or other threads for embroidery;

- a needle for embroidery on knitwear (with a blunt tip);

- thin threads for basting;

- needle for hand sewing with a sharp tip;

- tracing paper and pencil for image translation);

- scissors.

Life hack: neat applique on knitwear with embroidery paper

Step 1

Select and print or draw a picture or inscription and transfer it in pencil to tracing paper.

Step 2

Cut the tracing paper so that there is an allowance of 1.5–2 cm around the image. Put the tracing paper where you plan to embroider, and bind with a thin thread.

Step 3

Embroider, for example, with a chain stitch. Tracing paper here will fulfill not only the role of the template, but will also not allow to knit the knitwear when embroidering.

Step 4

It remains to remove the tracing paper, tearing it. Done.
