This method will help not only to accurately store the needles for the sewing machine, but also to distribute them into categories.
As the collection of various needles for the sewing machine and / or overlock is replenished, sooner or later the question arises of their convenient and accurate storage. To your attention - one of the possible options: storage in boxes with sorting by purpose and type of needles. Each of the boxes contains certain needles (universal by numbers, for knitwear, for denim and so on), and an inscription is applied to the lid. The main thing is to choose the boxes of the right size. If they are not there, you can glue them yourself.
By the way, you can choose and buy needles for sewing machines and overlocks (as well as needles for hand sewing and needlework) in our store here.
DIY needle book case
You will need:
- finished boxes, suitable in size, or cardboard, ruler, pencil, glue for the manufacture of boxes;

- if you want to attach boxes to a vertical organizer board - double-sided tape.
Life hack: storing fabrics in box with sample labels
Step 1
Packings of needles can be of different sizes. Disassemble your packaging with needles and determine how many boxes of what size you need (considerthat each box can get several packages). Above is a diagram of the box and lid, which are suitable for storing 2-3 standard packages of needles (package size 3x4.5 cm). If the packing size of the needles is different, adjust the pattern.
Step 2
Cut the required number of parts of boxes and lids from cardboard and glue. To make it easier to fold the boxes, you can draw the fold lines along the ruler with the blunt side of the table knife.
Step 3
Paste the covers of the boxes with colored paper.
Step 4
Sign each box, determining which needles will be stored in it.
Step 5
If you use a vertical organizer board, the boxes can be glued to it with double-sided tape.
