Curly sections or rounded festoons at the bottom of the product or sleeves will add a touch of charm to the image and turn the most ordinary model into a product with a romantic sound.

But how to process such a cut, especially if the fabric crumbles, and the usual overcasting seam and hem are not suitable? In this case, it is best to process a curly section with an oblique trim.

You can read about what a slanting inlay is, how to make it yourself and how to use it correctly in our special master class:

Step 2

In the place where the cut forms a corner, lay a small fold on the stitch so that the stitch lies flat, exactly repeating the shape of the slice.

Step 3

Stitch the tape to the cut at a clearance distance.

If necessary, cut allowances to 5-7 mm.
