Dry felting toys: a wolf from a fairy tale
Step 1
To create a magical space effect with a felting device, mix all the colors of the felting wool. To do this, take blue and lilac wool and at the same time comb it with a brush.
Step 2
Do the same with blue and navy blue fibers. Then mix everything together.
Step 3
Spread the resulting cloud evenly on a small brush-pillow, to speed up the felting process, use the 7-needle holder, which is ideal for processing large flat parts.
Step 4
Walk along the entire surface of the wool from the center to the edges so that the fibers adhere to each other, forming a single fabric. Make 1−2 the same blanks.
Step 5
Put the canvas on a foam ball, trying to avoid creases, and roll the felting needle from the center to the edges. To speed up the process, you can use two needles, paying special attention to the edges. Butt off the next workpiece and roll. Thus cover the entire surface of the foam ball.

Step 6
On a sheet of white felt with a disappearing pen, mark a circle with a diameter of 6 cm, draw 8 rays from the center of 8 rays 3 cm long. Fix the felt in the hoop. The silver-colored metallic floss yarns in two additions are imperceptibly fixed with several stitches on felt. Embroider the rays of snowflakes with a stitch seam, the stitch length is about 0.5 cm. Fill the space inside with the same stitch with various protrusions, needles and jumpers.
Step 7
Hide the ends of the threads on the inside, cut the finished embroidery in a marked circle and pin to the ball with pins, starting from the center. Surplus felt evenly lay in tiny folds opposite the rays of a snowflake. Sew embroidery to the ball with a metallic floss in 2 threads with a sewing stitch. After making sure that all the folds are fixed and the felt fits the ball tightly, pull out the pins.

Step 8
Using a bead needle with white monofilament, embroider the base and the felt element along the line of beading in different colors.Fold two pieces of blue and blue ribbons of 40 cm in half and tie a knot in the middle. Sew ribbons at the top of the ball.
