"I stopped buying clothes in stores - instead, I buy fabric and sew," says our current heroine.
About the page author
“I’m a geographer, I work in the tourism industry, but I’m thinking about sewing all the time,” writes Ana, author of the sewing blog on Instagram. Ana says she started sewing 6 years ago, but she really does it seriously for about two years. "My dream is to create a full-fledged wardrobe from things sewn with my own hands. In the meantime, I cut, stitch, iron - and I wear the things that I sew with pleasure."

What is this page about
Ana’s Instagram page could have looked like a normal life-style blog if she didn’t know that most of the things in which the author is captured in the photos were sewn by herself. Usually Ana talks more or less about this or that thing - how it was conceived, from which it is sewn, and so on. Sometimes the author publishes photos of working moments or may invite readers of the blog to join the discussion on how best to use this or that fabric. However, there are no detailed master classes here: this is not a training, but a motivating blog devoted to sewing.

Who will be interested in this page
Ana's blog will be interesting to everyone who sews clothes - first of all, for herself. If you are close to the principles of the "slow fashion" movement (more about it you can read here) - also go to this page. "It turned out that I almost stopped buying clothes in stores.“I stopped feeling the joy of“ fast fashion ”, of all these searches for cheap offers and sweating when changing into dressing rooms,” Ana writes. “Now I buy fabric instead and sew - while trying to buy really high-quality natural fabrics.”
