Bezel "Roses"

By popular demand, I’m posting a workshop on making a summer rim with flowers made of fabric.

Previously, the master classes had never been posted, so everything that I could capture in the process of manufacturing a new rim.
To work you need:
- a plastic rim;
- chiffon, organza of several shades for roses;
- velvet and braid for finishing the rim:
- a flower pattern from paper;
- scissors, needle, thread and candle.
Photo No. 1. We cut out a flower pattern in paper with a diameter of 5 cm from paper. From chiffon we cut out flowers in large quantities according to the pattern (for 1 small tea rose 2 pcs.). On the rim of 17 roses, respectively, cut out about 34 pcs.
From chiffon or crepe satin, we also cut out small green leaves (17pcs).
Photo No. 2. Gently burn the fabric blanks on the candle flame. Do not bring close, otherwise everything will burn, a little from the side and high up.
Be patient and you will succeed!
Photo No. 3. Fold the "fried" billets together in 2 pieces, so that the leaves do not match.
Photo No. 4. Then fold in half.
Photo No. 5. Then again at a quarter.
Photo No. 6. At the base of the flower, from the bottom we fix with stitches of thread and sew the leaves.
Photo No. 7. And so do 17 small roses.
We trim the rim with a non-slippery cloth, I use velvet (or velor). From the inside, to close the stitches, I glue the decorative braid with a heat gun (if there is no gun, you can also sew on).
Now on the sheathed rim we sew small roses over an equal distance.
It is safer to sew flowers with threads to the rim than to glue them with a thermal gun.
